Level Four : (12 Weeks) - Designed for those who know how to use an industrial machine and have advanced beyond the Level Three . This individual is experience and interested in time saving techniques for the workroom with the possibility of improving their finishing and expanding their Workroom.
At the end of twelve (12) weeks you will develop the skill & confidence to:
- Create the hobbled shades using different methods.
- Cut and shape banding, and other advanced embellishments.
- Create fit-like-a-glove slipcovers
- Scaling, designing and drafting custom patterns for shaped cornices, multi-dimensional cornice for speciality windows and bays utilizing advanced embellishing techniques
- You will be trained in using high-end techniques such as:
- Preparing Templates for odd-shaped windows.
- Fabricating Bump-interlined drapery panels.
- Working with odd-shaped windows, bays, arches, arched-top
- Creating and using Goblet Pleat Panels in Odd Shaped windows.
- Pricing your work for profit.
- Install soft window coverings, mini-blinds and verticals, including commercial applications, motorization, and odd-shaped windows.
Pre-requisite - Must be comfortable using an Industrial Sewing Machine and beyond levels One to Three.
